My name is Cristhian and I am a Software Engineer working as a financial java/c# analyst/programmer in downtown Manhattan.

I completed my Master’s Degree in Computer Science at New York University (MSCS Program) in December of 2005, with an emphasis in Database Systems, Networks and Web Technologies. Currently I am working in the Financial Industry (FX/Currency markets).

Prior to entering NYU, I obtained a bachelor degree in Computer Systems Engineering at Monterrey Tech in Guadalajara, Mexico (Tecnologico de Monterrey, campus Guadalajara).

Chess is my favorite game and sometimes you can find me playing online chess on ICC (Internet Chess Club). My ICC handle is 'cristhian'. Although I am not an expert you won't defeat me in just a few moves :) (unless you are really good : )
